Electra Mining Africa, scheduled for September 7-11, 2026, at the Johannesburg Expo Centre, is poised to become a key platform for unveiling the latest industrial technologies and integrated solutions crucial for the mining, manufacturing, and broader industrial sectors. The exhibition, which has seen significant expansion to a record 44,000m², will feature over 1,000 exhibitors demonstrating advancements in automation, artificial intelligence (AI), robotics, and digital manufacturing.
The event aims to address the increasing industry demand for enhanced productivity, improved safety, reduced operating costs, and greater sustainability, driven by rapid technological integration. The focus is on intelligent, integrated operations that move beyond standalone digital solutions to foster better decision-making, optimize asset performance, minimize downtime, and bolster workplace safety through predictive maintenance and smart operational systems.
With 1,000 local and international exhibitors, attendees can expect to see a wide array of products, technologies, and services, ranging from large-scale mining equipment and industrial machinery to automation systems, power solutions, and manufacturing innovations. The exhibition will also cover essential components such as pumps, valves, welding equipment, safety solutions, personal protective equipment (PPE), tools, and engineering services.
A significant theme for the 2026 edition will be sustainability and local manufacturing, with exhibitors presenting solutions aligned with environmental, social, and governance (ESG) objectives.
