Quick commerce startup FirstClub has announced the closure of its Series B funding round, securing $55 million (approximately ₹512 crore). The round was co-led by Peak XV Partners and Sofina, with participation from existing investors Accel, RTP Global, and Paramark Ventures.
The fresh capital infusion is earmarked for significant expansion initiatives. FirstClub plans to increase its store presence in Bengaluru and Hyderabad, where it currently operates 24 outlets, including three recently launched locations in Hyderabad. The company also intends to broaden its reach into other cities.
In addition to store expansion, FirstClub will invest in establishing larger warehouses to support its growing network. A portion of the funds will also be allocated to widening its product categories, with a strategic focus on home and kitchen items, utensils, general merchandise, and gifting over the next three months.
Founded in 2024 by former Cleartrip CEO Ayyappan R, FirstClub specializes in delivering premium products across categories such as food and beverage, grocery, health and supplements, and home and kitchen, aiming for a 20-25 minute delivery window. The platform commenced operations in July 2025.
FirstClub emphasizes product quality, conducting regular tests on groceries and lab tests on everyday items before listing them. While the company has been described as a “member-first quick commerce platform,” a formal membership program is slated for introduction soon, though the platform will remain accessible to all customers.
Ayyappan R highlighted the company’s commitment to product freshness, particularly for perishable goods. FirstClub employs cold chain logistics, including specialized bags for temperature-sensitive items like dairy products, to mitigate bacterial growth and maintain quality during delivery. The startup reports a monthly customer retention rate of 60%.
In the premium product delivery segment, FirstClub competes with established players such as FreshToHome and Nature’s Basket.
