Venture capital firms such as Bessemer Venture Partners, Rukam Capital, and Arkam Ventures also shared insights into institutional due diligence.
In parallel, edtech firm PhysicsWallah announced its financial results for Q4 FY26, reporting a 76% year-on-year reduction in net loss to ₹69.1 Cr, alongside a 51% rise in operating revenue to ₹918.8 Cr. For the full fiscal year FY26, the company narrowed its net losses by 90% to ₹24.2 Cr, with revenue increasing by 35% to ₹3,899.5 Cr. PhysicsWallah also disclosed an investment of ₹120 Cr in its NBFC arm, FinZ Finance, and its development of proprietary AI models for Indian educational use cases.
Other notable developments include TIEA Connectors securing ₹77 Cr in Series A funding led by IvyCap Ventures to enhance manufacturing and R&D capabilities. In legal news, Byju Raveendran, founder of BYJU’S, was sentenced to six months in jail by a Singapore court for contempt of court. Exponent Energy saw cofounder Sanjay Byalal Jagannath step down as part of a restructuring, while EMotorad appointed Himanshu Ratnoo as cofounder.
Furthermore, the Supreme Court upheld the retrospective imposition of a 28% Goods and Services Tax (GST) on real-money gaming platforms, a decision expected to impact the sector significantly.
