Customers interact with a Hyundai Creta at a dealership, reflecting variant streamlining.
Hyundai India has announced a revised variant strategy for its Creta SUV, effective for the 2026 model year. The move aims to streamline the model’s offerings, with several existing variants, including the popular SX Tech and SX(O) trims, being discontinued. This restructuring simplifies the purchasing decision for consumers by reducing the number of available configurations.
The Hyundai Creta will now be offered across seven distinct trims. The pricing for the updated lineup ranges from Rs 10.79 lakh to Rs 19.90 lakh. A notable change in the revised strategy is the exclusivity of advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS), which are now reserved solely for the top-tier King variant. This positioning suggests a focus on offering the most advanced safety and convenience features in the premium segment of the Creta range.
Despite the variant consolidation, the Creta will continue to be available with its existing three engine options, providing customers with a choice of powertrains to suit their driving preferences. The specific details of the discontinued variants and the enhanced features of the King variant are expected to be further elaborated by Hyundai India in the coming weeks.
