Voestalpine has secured approximately EUR 1 billion in aerospace and space orders over the next five years, marking its largest aerospace order volume to date. These agreements include major players like Airbus and cover high-performance materials, complex forged components, and integrated global logistics services.
Production will occur at facilities in Kapfenberg and Mürzzuschlag in Austria, as well as at its subsidiary Villares Metals’ Sumaré plant in Brazil. The company supplies high-performance materials in various forms and “ready-to-install” forged components for fuselage, engine, and landing gear applications. These parts are designed to withstand extreme conditions and are utilized in widely used passenger aircraft such as the Airbus A320, A330, and A350 families.
