Peeko, a quick commerce startup specializing in babycare products, has successfully closed a $7 million Series A funding round. The investment was led by Chiratae Ventures, with participation from existing investor Stellaris Venture Partners and other angel investors. This latest funding brings Peeko’s total raised capital to approximately ₹95 Cr ($11.5 million), including a prior ₹28 Cr ($3.4 million) round.
The new capital will be strategically deployed to enhance Peeko’s presence in Bengaluru, broaden its product assortment, and strengthen its technological infrastructure. Cofounder Chetan Sharma indicated that a portion of the funds will also support hiring for key roles as the company scales its operations. Peeko currently employs around 60 individuals.
Founded by former Leap Finance executives Chetan Sharma and Abhijit Gairola, along with ex-OYO executive Vivek Khetan, Peeko operates a vertical quick commerce platform. The startup aims to deliver babycare products, including apparel, toys, shoes, accessories, hard goods, diapers, wipes, personal care items, and baby food, within an hour. The platform currently offers approximately 30,000 SKUs across three dark stores in Bengaluru, featuring over 100 Indian and international brands such as Dr. Brown’s, Cetaphil, Sebamed, Mothercare, and Pantaloons.
Peeko plans to add three more dark stores in Bengaluru by the end of the current calendar year, expanding its delivery coverage to the entire city. The company also intends to explore expansion into other cities by early next year. A unique aspect of Peeko’s model is its
