Trinamool Congress MP Mahua Moitra has accused the Adani Group of “brazenly lying” to stock exchanges concerning the conglomerate’s alleged intentions to venture into the airline business. The accusation stems from a purported letter dated June 4, sent by Adani Airports to the Airports Authority of India (AAI).
The letter reportedly seeks a waiver that would permit Adani Defence & Aerospace and its affiliated entities to invest in, establish, own, or control a scheduled airline.
