India is bolstering its defense export capabilities with a substantial $629 million deal to supply BrahMos missiles to Vietnam. The announcement was made by Defence Secretary Rajesh Kumar Singh on the sidelines of the Shangri-La Dialogue in Singapore, signaling a deepening of defense ties in Southeast Asia.
Singh also indicated that a similar agreement with Indonesia is in the final stages of negotiation, underscoring India’s growing role as a defense technology partner in the region.
