New office complex in Bengaluru's commercial district
Embassy Developments is set to significantly expand its commercial real estate footprint in Bengaluru with a planned investment of ₹1,500 crore. The company will develop a 3 million square foot office complex, a move aimed at capitalizing on the robust demand for prime office spaces, particularly from foreign companies establishing Global Capability Centres (GCCs) in India.
This strategic expansion into commercial assets complements Embassy Developments’ strong performance in the residential sector. The company has ambitious plans to launch approximately ₹20,000 crore worth of homes within the current fiscal year, indicating a diversified growth strategy.
Managing Director Aditya Virwani highlighted the company’s confidence in the commercial office market, driven by multinational corporations seeking to establish or expand their operations in India. The new development is expected to bolster the company’s rental income from its commercial portfolio.
