Air India has announced a strategic partnership with Booking.com, a prominent online travel agency, to provide customers with a unified platform for booking both flights and accommodations. This collaboration aims to streamline the travel planning process for Air India’s passengers by integrating stay options directly into the airline’s digital channels.
Through a newly established co-branded interface accessible on Air India’s official website and mobile application, travelers can now search for and book hotel stays alongside their flight reservations. This move is designed to enhance customer convenience and offer a more comprehensive travel solution.
For members of Air India’s loyalty program, Maharaja Club, the partnership brings additional benefits. These members will be eligible to earn five Maharaja points for every ₹100 spent on accommodation bookings made through the integrated platform. This initiative is expected to drive greater engagement with the loyalty program and provide added value to frequent travelers.
The integration signifies Air India’s commitment to improving its digital offerings and customer experience by leveraging partnerships with established players in the online travel ecosystem. The collaboration with Booking.com is anticipated to broaden the range of accommodation choices available to Air India customers and potentially attract new users to both platforms.
