Indian and Taiwanese officials exchange documents for industrial park deal.
The Gujarat government has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to develop an Indo-Taiwan Industrial Park in the Sanand-Dholera region. This initiative aims to attract over ₹1,000 crore in Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) for semiconductor and electronics manufacturing.
The industrial park is projected to create approximately 12,000 jobs within five years, boosting the local economy and enhancing Gujarat’s position as a hub for electronics manufacturing.
The collaboration with Taiwanese companies is expected to bring advanced technology and expertise to the region, fostering growth in the semiconductor and electronics sectors.
