Advanced AI system processing marketing data in a high-tech office.
JustAI, an artificial intelligence-powered marketing technology (martech) platform, has successfully raised $17 million in a Series A funding round. The investment was led by US-based venture capital firm Base10, with participation from existing investors Y Combinator and Peak XV Partners. The round also saw contributions from notable figures including HubSpot cofounder and CTO Dharmesh Shah, founders of Eppo and Vapi, and executives from Anthropic and Chime.
The capital infusion is earmarked for scaling JustAI’s engineering and go-to-market teams, enhancing its agentic AI infrastructure, and expanding its product offerings to encompass e-commerce and B2B marketing applications. A portion of the funds will also be allocated to talent acquisition in India and exploring market opportunities within the country.
Founded in 2024 as Just Words by former X executives Neha Mittal and Jeff Hara, JustAI initially focused on providing SaaS tools for automating personalized messaging for enterprises. The company rebranded to JustAI late last year and now utilizes a coordinated team of four AI agents—strategy, creative, decisioning, and data—to manage complex marketing campaigns and optimize customer engagement.
The platform’s client roster includes companies such as Coursera, ClickUp, Better, Figma, Pinterest, and Etsy. This latest funding follows a $1.7 million seed round in 2024, co-led by Peak XV Partners and Y Combinator.
The investment underscores the growing investor interest in the AI-driven martech sector, which is rapidly transforming how brands analyze data, generate content, personalize campaigns, and optimize customer interactions. Recent activity in the space includes BambooBox’s $6.6 million round led by Peak XV Surge and Fibr’s $5.7 million seed funding from Accel.
India’s martech ecosystem is projected to become a significant market, with an estimated value of $186 billion by 2030, indicating substantial growth potential for companies like JustAI.
