Students in Gujarat receive training on advanced manufacturing equipment at an ITI lab.
Maruti Suzuki India is set to establish advanced manufacturing laboratories at five Industrial Training Institutes (ITIs) across Gujarat. This strategic move, undertaken in collaboration with the state’s Directorate of Employment and Training, aims to bridge the gap between academic curricula and the practical demands of the modern automotive industry.
The initiative will provide students with hands-on experience using state-of-the-art equipment, thereby equipping them with the skills necessary for the evolving automotive manufacturing landscape. This investment in training infrastructure aligns with Maruti Suzuki’s broader manufacturing expansion plans within Gujarat, ensuring a pipeline of skilled talent to support its operational growth.
By investing in these advanced labs, Maruti Suzuki is not only addressing its future workforce needs but also contributing to the skill development ecosystem in Gujarat, a key hub for the company’s production activities.
