Dr. Nikhil Tandon has assumed the role of officiating Director at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) Delhi. This temporary appointment is set for a duration of six months or until a permanent Director is appointed.

This arrangement follows the departure of Dr. M Sirinivas, who formerly held the Director position. Dr. Sirinivas is now a full-time member of NITI Aayog, where he succeeds Dr. VK Paul.
