Workers prepare solar panels for shipment at a large manufacturing facility.
Waaree Energies, India’s largest solar module maker, announced on Sunday that a recent probe by US authorities found no evidence of its solar panels being manufactured with Chinese cells. The investigation, which examined historical import entries, has concluded without impacting the company’s current operations in the United States.
The company confirmed that its US business remains unaffected, with manufacturing deliveries proceeding as normal. This development follows scrutiny from US Customs and Border Protection (CBP) that began in September 2025, related to the origin of components used in solar products entering the US market.
The resolution of this investigation is a positive signal for Waaree Energies, as it navigates the complex regulatory landscape of international trade and reinforces its position in the US market without operational interruptions.
