Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta is poised to announce the ambitious Phase V(b) expansion of the Delhi Metro, a project encompassing 97 kilometers across seven new corridors and 65 stations. This substantial undertaking, with an estimated cost exceeding Rs 48,000 crore, aims to extend the metro network into the outer regions of Delhi. The initiative is designed to significantly enhance public transportation connectivity and promote sustainable transit options within the capital region.
