Indian startups have collectively raised $39 million across 15 deals this week, even as funding trends remain subdued. This marks a 35% decrease from the $60 million raised across a similar number of deals last week and represents the lowest weekly funding amount for Indian startups in 2026.
Among the notable deals, LightFury Games secured $11 million in a pre-Series A funding round, with participation from Blume Ventures, V3 Ventures, MIXI, Times Internet, MS Dhoni, Jasprit Bumrah, Hardik Pandya, Shreyas Iyer, Ravindra Jadeja, Tilak Varma, and Sai Sudharsan. M, a real estate tech startup, raised $8.8 million in seed funding led by Peak XV Partners, Blume Ventures, and CRED. STCH, an enterprise services provider, garnered $5.5 million in a pre-Series A round led by Omnivore, with participation from Kae Capital and WVC.
Other significant funding rounds include Spill Games raising $3.1 million in seed funding, NudgeBee securing $3 million in seed funding led by Kalaari Capital, and Lawyered obtaining $2.5 million in pre-Series A funding from Rainmatter, Turbostart, and Finvolve. PrimeInvestor raised $2.1 million in seed funding led by Rainmatter Capital, while Deep Algorithm secured $1.7 million in a pre-Series A round led by Unicorn India Ventures, SB Investment, Prakash Govindan, and Himanshu Singhal.
Additional developments this week include MTG-owned gaming studio PlaySimple Games filing DRHP for an OFS-only IPO of ₹3,150 Cr with SEBI. Edtech startup Emversity acquired healthcare talent mobility platform Lanstitut Technologies for an undisclosed amount, and Dhan parent Raise Financial Services acquired algo-trading platform Stratzy in a cash-and-stock deal. Razorpay is reportedly planning to file for an IPO via the confidential route, aiming to raise $600 million to $700 million at a valuation of $5 billion to $6 billion.
In other news, Lachy Groom is reportedly backing house-help startup Pronto at a $200 million valuation, potentially doubling its valuation within weeks.
