Moneyview secures ₹327.5 crore from anchor investors ahead of its upcoming IPO.
Fintech unicorn Moneyview has successfully secured ₹327.5 crore from anchor investors, a critical milestone ahead of its upcoming initial public offering (IPO). The company allocated 9.63 crore shares to its backers at ₹34 per share, reaching the upper end of its predetermined price band.
The anchor round attracted significant participation from major institutional players, including Goldman Sachs, Motilal Oswal, 360 ONE, and ICICI Prudential. Domestic mutual funds were particularly prominent, collectively accounting for 72% of the anchor allocation across fourteen distinct schemes.
Moneyview’s total IPO offering is valued at ₹1,092 crore, consisting of a fresh issue of shares worth up to ₹750 crore and an offer-for-sale (OFS) of up to 10.05 crore shares. With the price band set between ₹32 and ₹34, the company is targeting a valuation of approximately ₹5,985 crore at the upper end of the spectrum.
This capital raise arrives as the company seeks to solidify its market position amid a broader push by Indian fintechs to access public markets. The successful anchor round provides a positive signal to retail and institutional investors as the bidding process commences, reflecting sustained demand for established digital lending platforms despite current market volatility.
