Shiv Ratan Agarwal, the Chairman and Managing Director of Bikaji Foods International Ltd, has passed away at the age of 74. Agarwal, who founded the renowned Bikaji brand in 1993, died in Chennai.
The industrialist was in Chennai to be with his wife, who had recently undergone surgery. His passing has been met with widespread condolences, including a tribute from Ashok Gehlot, former Chief Minister of Rajasthan.
Agarwal’s leadership was instrumental in establishing Bikaji Foods as a significant player in the Indian snack food industry. The company, known for its wide range of savories and sweets, has a substantial market presence both domestically and internationally.
