Engineers and technicians inspect aerospace components at a manufacturing facility in Hyderabad.
Hyderabad-based Jeh Aerospace has signed a long-term agreement with Liebherr-Aerospace to manufacture precision components for aircraft landing gear systems. The deal coincides with a significant surge in Telangana’s engineering exports, which have overtaken pharmaceuticals to become the state’s top export.
The components will be produced at Jeh Aerospace’s Hyderabad facility, integrating it into Liebherr-Aerospace’s global industrial network. This partnership highlights the stringent requirements for dimensional tolerances and certification standards in aerospace manufacturing.
Vishal R. Sanghavi, Founder and CEO of Jeh Aerospace, emphasized the significance of being selected by a Tier 1 manufacturer like Liebherr-Aerospace. Martin Wandel, COO and Managing Director at Liebherr-Aerospace & Transportation SAS, cited Jeh Aerospace’s strong manufacturing capabilities and commitment to operational excellence as key factors in the collaboration.
Telangana’s engineering sector is experiencing rapid growth, driven by its thriving aerospace and defense ecosystem. Engineering goods have seen a nearly 118% increase in exports between 2023-24 and 2024-25, propelling Telangana to fourth place nationally in engineering exports.
