Hospitality trainees and instructor in the Andaman Islands
New Delhi, India – Indian Hotels Company Limited (IHCL), Tata Strive, and the Andaman and Nicobar Islands Integrated Development Corporation (ANIIDCO) have launched a collaborative hospitality training program in the Andaman Islands. This initiative is designed to enhance the skills and employability of the local workforce within the burgeoning tourism sector.
The program is set to train and certify approximately 250 personnel in key hospitality roles. Tata Strive will oversee the delivery of the training modules and manage the certification process, ensuring adherence to industry standards. IHCL, a prominent player in the hospitality industry, will contribute its extensive expertise to shape the curriculum and provide practical, real-world insights.
This collaboration underscores a strategic effort to bolster the quality of service in the Andaman Islands’ tourism industry, which is a significant contributor to the region’s economy.
