Nexus AI founder oversees team collaboration in a modern office
Hang Ten Systems, the new artificial intelligence venture founded by former Infosys CEO Vishal Sikka, has successfully closed a $32 million (approximately ₹302 crore) seed funding round. The round was led by private equity firm Mayfield Ventures, with participation from Aramco Ventures, the venture capital arm of Saudi Aramco, and a group of angel investors.
The startup intends to deploy the newly acquired capital to bolster its team and enhance its service offerings to global enterprises. Hang Ten Systems positions itself as an enterprise AI services company focused on enabling large organizations to adopt AI technologies. It plans to utilize agentic code generation and a reusable skills library to assist companies in building and managing SaaS tools.
Vishal Sikka announced the launch of Hang Ten, highlighting its current engagements with companies like Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy and Fresenius on AI-native project delivery. The company’s operational model aims to deliver software development and modification at a reduced cost and time, supported by specialized expertise in enterprise transformations, finance, HR, and new product development.
The venture also features Jerry Yang, former CEO of Yahoo, on its board. The current team comprises 16 members, including former ANSYS executive Navin Budhiraja and other key personnel.
This funding round underscores the increasing demand for enterprise AI solutions, driven by the pursuit of efficiency, productivity, and automation. Sikka, who previously founded the GenAI startup Vianai Systems in 2019, brings his extensive experience in AI and enterprise transformations to Hang Ten Systems.
