NBCC team meeting in a construction site office discussing project growth.
NBCC (National Buildings Construction Corporation) has set an ambitious revenue target of ₹18,000 crore (approximately $2.16 billion) for fiscal year 2027, according to its Managing Director. This represents a substantial increase from the expected ₹14,000 crore ($1.68 billion) in revenue for FY26.
The company attributes this projected growth to the anticipated progress of several redevelopment projects that faced delays in approvals. These projects are now expected to contribute significantly to revenue generation in FY27.
NBCC, a state-run property developer, is focused on expanding its project pipeline and streamlining operations to meet its financial goals. The successful execution of redevelopment projects is critical to achieving the targeted revenue increase.
Mahadevaswamy, Managing Director at NBCC, noted that the delays in securing necessary approvals had shifted the timelines for key redevelopment projects into FY27, thereby impacting the company’s revenue projections for the current fiscal year.
The company’s strategic focus remains on capitalizing on government initiatives related to urban development and infrastructure, which are expected to provide further growth opportunities in the coming years.
