The central government has cleared a Rs 132.51 crore road over bridge project for the Deendayal Port Authority in Kandla, aiming to alleviate congestion and enhance cargo flow. The project is designed to improve logistics and support economic growth in the region.
Western Railway will execute the construction of the road over bridge. The initiative seeks to remove bottlenecks that impede the efficient movement of goods, thereby improving overall logistics efficiency.
This development aligns with the Sagarmala Programme and PM Gati Shakti, both initiatives focused on enhancing infrastructure and connectivity. By improving transportation efficiency, the project is expected to accelerate trade and support broader economic development.
