Garden Reach Shipbuilders & Engineers Limited (GRSE) has announced its highest-ever annual turnover of Rs 6,400 crore, marking a significant milestone in its operational performance. The company’s achievement is underscored by the delivery of eight vessels to the Indian Navy, including frigates and survey ships, reinforcing its role in bolstering India’s defense capabilities.
The Kolkata-based shipyard is actively engaged in constructing next-generation corvettes and export vessels, indicating a strategic focus on expanding its product portfolio and market reach. In addition to shipbuilding, GRSE has launched an innovative suspension bridge, showcasing its diversification into related engineering sectors. The company is also prioritizing technological advancements, establishing new laboratories and entering into Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) to drive innovation and efficiency.
