Nestlé India expands Munch production.
Nestlé India is set to expand its Munch production capabilities with a new line at its Sanand facility in Gujarat. The project, backed by an investment of ₹225 crore (approximately $27 million), aims to increase the output by 8,300 tons annually.
The expansion is slated for completion by FY 2025-26. This move underscores Nestlé’s strategic focus on ramping up capacity to meet the escalating consumer demand for its confectionery products. The company’s investment will further strengthen its supply chain.
This development aligns with Nestlé’s broader strategy to reinforce its manufacturing footprint in India, catering to both domestic consumption and potential export opportunities. The investment signals confidence in the growth potential of India’s confectionery market.
